Abstract
Balloon eustachian tuboplasty (BET) is a relatively new technique for the management of dilatory eustachian tube dysfunction (DETD) for the treatment of DETD. Since it was first reported in 2010, the efficacy and safety of BET have been continuously recognized, and the complications reported were rare and minor, accounting for 1%?2%. However, theoretically, there is a sufficient possibility that patulous eustachian tube occurs due to overdilatation of the eustachian tube, which has not been reported so far. Herein, we report two cases of secondary patulous Eustachian tube after BET.
